PulNama Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026 Effective date: 7 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how PulNama (the “App”), operated by Amotarget Technology, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PulNama.
By using PulNama, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
PulNama is a digital ledger and business-management tool designed to help businesses of all sizes — from small shops to large companies — track customer credit, record payments, manage outstanding balances, organize their inventory and operations, and send payment reminders to their customers.
PulNama works in several modes depending on your type of business:
- General Shop: credit ledger and customer-account management.
- Fuel Station: managing fuels, tanks, sales, shifts, and credit customers.
- Pharmacy: managing medicines, stock, prices, and batch expiry dates.
- Sarafi (Money Exchange): recording hawala, currency exchange, and managing a multi-currency ledger.
PulNama is operated by Amotarget Technology, a company registered in Turkey.

2. What Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account and use PulNama, you may provide:
- Account information: your name, phone number, business name, and email address (if you sign in with a third-party account).
- Security information: the four-digit passcode you set to protect your account. This passcode is always stored in hashed form and is never kept as plain text.
- Customer information you record: the names, phone numbers, and credit/payment details of your own customers, which you enter into the app to manage your business records.
- Guarantor information: if you add a guarantor for a customer, the name, phone number, and relationship of the guarantor that you enter.
- Employee information: if you add an employee, the name and the level of permissions you set for them.
- Transaction records: the credit amounts, payments, currencies, dates, notes, and grace periods you record for each transaction.
- Photos you upload: photos of goods or proof-of-payment documents that you optionally attach to a transaction yourself.
- Settings and preferences: language preference, currency preference, business mode and type, and notification preferences.
- Your shop’s location: if you choose to record it while setting up your shop, the latitude and longitude of the shop, captured once at the moment you tap the locate button or place the marker on the map. It is stored with your shop record so that we can show you market prices, group deals, and offers relevant to your city, and so that nearby customers can find your shop in the in-app bazaar. Your location is not tracked in the background.
- Your device’s approximate location: when you open the Bazaar, your approximate position is read once so that nearby shops and market prices can be sorted and narrowed to roughly 10 km around you. This filtering happens entirely on your own device; your position is not sent to our servers and we do not store it.
- A contact you choose: when you add a customer using your phone’s contact picker, the name and phone number of the single contact you select. The App does not read, scan, or upload your address book — your phone’s own picker displays the list, and only the one contact you tap is passed to the App.
Depending on the business mode you choose, you may also provide:
- Fuel Station: fuel types and their prices, tanks and stock levels, sales records, shifts and shift attendants, and fleet customer debt (by vehicle plate).
- Pharmacy: pharmaceutical items, batches with expiry dates, price, and stock.
- Sarafi (Money Exchange): hawala and currency-exchange details (sender, recipient, amount, and currency), payout codes, and — if used — a receipt image you attach as proof of payment.
Legal basis: we process the information in this section to provide the service you have asked us for — performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Access to your location and to your contacts additionally depends on the permission your device asks you to grant. You can refuse either one, or withdraw it later in your device settings, and the rest of the App keeps working.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, and app version, used to support the app and diagnose technical issues.
- Authentication information: secure session credentials issued when you sign in, used to keep you signed in across uses.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
The App does not collect:
- Your phone’s contact list. When you add a customer from your contacts, your phone’s own picker opens and hands back only the single contact you tap; the App never reads, scans, or uploads your address book. See section 2.1.
- Background or continuous location tracking. The App reads your location only at the moment you ask it to, and never while it is closed or running in the background. See section 2.1 for the two places it is used.
- Fingerprint or face data; biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device’s operating system, and this data never leaves the device or is sent to us.
- Photos, files, or media outside what you explicitly upload to the app
- Browsing history
- Behavioral analytics or third-party usage tracking
The pulnama.com website is separate from the App and does collect some of this information; section 2.4 below describes what it collects.
2.4 Information Collected on Our Website
Our website at pulnama.com collects a small amount of information about visits to it. The script that does this is our own; it runs on the website and not in the App, and it sends the information only to us. No third-party analytics or advertising script is loaded.
When you open a page on pulnama.com, the script sends us a notification email containing:
- IP address: the address your browser uses to connect to the internet.
- Approximate location: the city, region, and country your IP address indicates.
- Internet service provider: the company that provides your internet connection.
- Browser timezone: the timezone your browser reports.
- Page opened: the address of the page you opened.
- Referring page: the page that linked you to it, if you arrived from one.
- User-Agent string: the description of the browser and operating system that your browser sends with each request.
We handle this information as follows:
- Purpose: to understand who is reaching the website and from where, so that we can decide where to offer PulNama and in which languages.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use this information to identify you or combine it with your PulNama account, and we do not sell or share it for marketing. You can switch off this collection at any time.
- Third parties: ipwho.is, a geolocation service, receives your IP address and nothing else, and returns only an approximate location. No other third party receives any of this information.
- Retention: the notification email and the web server’s access log are both deleted after 90 days.
- Your rights: the rights in section 8 — access, objection, and deletion (erasure) — apply to this information as well. Because the legal basis is legitimate interest, you may object at any time by writing to info@pulnama.com.
- Opting out: open any page on the website once with ?novisit added to the address, for example https://pulnama.com/en/?novisit, and that browser is excluded permanently. The choice is stored on your own device and is never sent to us.
- Cookies and storage: no cookies are set. One flag is stored for the length of your browsing session so that opening several pages does not repeat the notification email; it identifies no one and is discarded when you close the tab.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Operate the core functions for your business mode — recording transactions and hawala, calculating balances, managing inventory and tanks, and displaying customer history.
- Authenticate you when you sign in.
- Send payment reminders to your customers via messaging services, only when you initiate the send.
- Send you transactional notifications (e.g., verification codes when signing in, payment receipts).
- Synchronize your data across your devices if you sign in on multiple devices.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do NOT use your information to:
- Show you advertisements
- Sell to third parties
- Build profiles for marketing purposes outside PulNama
- Train artificial intelligence models on your customer data
4. How We Store and Protect Your Information
PulNama uses a combination of secure, encrypted local storage on your device and encrypted cloud backend services to keep your data available even without an internet connection, synchronized across devices, and recoverable if your device is lost.
We protect your information using:
- Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols.
- Encryption of data at rest, both on your device and on our backend servers.
- Access controls limiting who can access stored data.
- Regular security reviews and updates.
While we apply industry-standard safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and device secure.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
We share limited information with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to operate PulNama:
- Cloud infrastructure providers to host and operate our backend services.
- Messaging service provider (WhatsApp) to deliver payment reminders, verification codes, and guarantor-related messages to phone numbers you provide.
- Authentication providers (only if you choose to sign in with a third-party account such as Google) to verify your identity.
- Push notification provider (Firebase Cloud Messaging, operated by Google) to deliver notifications to your device. It receives a device token, not the contents of your ledger.
- Map and address-lookup providers, used only on the screen where you place your shop on a map. OpenStreetMap’s tile servers receive the area of the map you are viewing, and the address lookup that turns a place name or coordinates into an address is performed by your device’s own operating system (Apple or Google, depending on your phone). Your ledger, customers, and transactions are never sent to these services.
Each provider is bound by data protection obligations and processes data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not share your data for marketing or advertising purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect our legal rights, the safety of our users, or the integrity of our services.
6. Messaging Your Customers and Guarantors
PulNama allows you to send payment reminders to your customers through a messaging service and, if you add a guarantor, to send a verification message and code to that guarantor. When you initiate these sends in the app:
- A message is delivered to the phone number you have entered.
- The message identifies your business as the sender and contains the reminder content or verification code.
- Standard messaging-platform terms apply to the delivery.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the recipient’s consent to receive messages from your business. PulNama provides the tool; the legal relationship with your customer or guarantor is yours.
7. Data Retention
- Active account data: kept as long as your PulNama account is active.
- Inactive accounts: if you do not use the app for 24 months, we may notify you and delete your account and data after a 30-day grace period.
- Deletion requests: you can start a deletion request from inside the App. Open Settings, then Privacy Policy, and use Delete Account at the bottom of that screen. The App asks you to confirm by typing your phone number, then sends us the request, already filled in, through the email app on your device. You can also email info@pulnama.com directly if you prefer. Either way, we delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of receiving the request, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
- Local data on your device: removed when you uninstall PulNama.
- Message delivery logs: retained by the messaging service provider per their own retention policy.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your account and data.
- Portability: request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to certain types of processing.
- Withdraw consent: revoke consent for processing where consent is the legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@pulnama.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a resident of Turkey, the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws and may contact us for assistance with them.
9. Children’s Privacy
PulNama is intended for adult business owners. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
PulNama is operated from Turkey. If you use PulNama from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in Turkey or in countries where our service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers consistent with applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy. Continued use of PulNama after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
